Women in time

France's President François Hollande has commented on the fact that the Pantheon in Paris, where the country remembers and honours those who have contributed to its greatness, has only two women occupants. One is Marie Curie; the other is Sophie Berthelot, and only by virtue of her husband, the chemist Marcellin Berthelot. In an age where we increasingly recognise and affirm the role of women, that the Pantheon should stand out as a male bastion must encourage President Hollande, during his five-year term, to "Pantheonise" only women. There will be no shortage of candidates!
